Online Health Program Planner [Website]
The OHPP is a tool that guides the user through part or all of a 6-step planning process developed by the Toronto, Ontario (Canada) Health Communication Unit. The tool helps users to make evidence-informed planning decisions. This fully integrated learning system includes steps with pecific support menus on every page. The planner asks the user what kind of support he or she needs and then directs them to the pages that they need for advice and planning tools. The planning steps include:
- Manage the planning process
- Conduct a situational assessment
- Set goals, audience, and outcome objectives
- Choose strategies and activities and assign resources
- Develop indicators
- Review the plan
