I am a community mobilization expert with over 6 years work experience implementing Malaria, HIV/ AIDs, Tuberculosis, Reproductive Health, Malaria, Orphan and Vulnerable Children projects.
As the current Assistant State Coordinator for the CCPN/ HC3 Malaria project, Zamfara-I work closely with the state coordinator and other team members in implementing cutting edge social behaviour change communication intervention that prevent malaria and promote access to malaria treatment and prevention services. To say the least, I supervise nine (9) social community mobilization assistants and approve their individual monthly work plan.
Before joining CCPN/HC3 Malaria project, I worked at Adolescent Health centre (AHC) as a programme officer responsible for community mobilization and demand creation. During this period, I also supported advocacy, monitoring and Evaluation and the development of annual work plans and budgets
In addition to my experience above, I hold a degree in Microbiology and I am fluent in English and Hausa language.
