I am the HIV Program Officer for HC3. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs, I was an ASPH Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention working in HIV social marketing and more specifically on their national anti-stigma campaign, Let’s Stop HIV Together. While at CDC, I helped to implement the campaign nationally through print ads, billboards, and radio and TV spots as well as worked on community engagement aspects of the campaign. I was also a member of two teams developing new national HIV prevention campaigns for the CDC. I have international experience, having worked in India on a TB project with Tibetan refugees as well as being a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2008-2011 in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. While in the Peace Corps, I worked with the local government to strengthen the capacity of community-based HIV organizations as well as conduct health education and outreach in the village where I lived. I have a BS in Community Health from Western Washington University and an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
