Tuan Nguyen

Dr. Tuan Nguyen* works with FHI 360 as the Technical Specialist in Technical Specialist in Measurement, Learning & Evaluation for Viet Nam for the Alive & Thrive Initiative and Senior Technical Officer of Strategic Information. As a medical epidemiologist, I have dedicated my career to improving the health of women and children through public health projects, evaluations and research in Viet Nam, Indonesia, and the United States over the past 20 years. His work has focused on maternal and child health & nutrition, health disparity, health transition, and program monitoring & evaluation. His core areas of technical expertise are qualitative and quantitative research. Prior to her assignment with Alive & Thrive, Tuan worked with the Hanoi Medical University in Vietnam and postdoctoral research experience at Baylor College of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University.

Trish Davis

I am currently a Program Officer with the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP).

Prior to joining CCP, I managed public relations and outreach coordination for one of the first U.S. residential substance-abuse treatment centers for women and their children. In Southern Africa, I worked with national and district education partners to pilot a radio program that increased access to basic education for rural children and raised national awareness around HIV/AIDS prevention and care. I have also worked as a reporter: for the largest daily newspaper in Connecticut and for a mid-sized daily in southwest Florida, chronicling issues around growth and development, health, local politics, education and crime.
