Integrated Communication Program Manager – Johns Hopkin University – Center for Communications Program – Health Communication Capacity Collaborative Nepal Project
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing technical assistance for the Media Outreach Communication component of the Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) Nepal project including Family Planning umbrella campaign and extension campaigns for Youth, Migrants and Disadvantaged Groups. Coordination with government counterpart National Health Education, Communication and Information Center (NHEICC) to develop national Family Planning Advocacy campaign.

Joseph Maruti is a Learning Management practitioner with over 10 years of experience designing and implementing pedagogical strategies to achieve set learning outcomes. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Egerton University and is currently completing a Master of Science in Project Management degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He has a wide range of learning management experience in local and international non-profits as well as in government and private sector institutions. This experience spans building and guiding teams so that they run ICT youth capacity building programs; on-going organizational training and leadership on a Markets, Finance and Information program, preparing and delivering phased incremental training for volunteers in the Health, Education and Community Economic Development sectors. Maruti has been Training Manager at Peace Corps Kenya since 2007. He previously worked at World Corps, Digital Opportunity Trust and PRIDE Africa.
