Participatory Approaches: A Facilitator’s Guide

The guide is organised into three parts: Principles, Methods and Tools.

• Principles compares participatory approaches with top-down approaches, and discusses how to facilitate participatory processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Methods collates a range of participatory methods that INTRODUCTION have been used successfully in the field by VSO and others.
• Tools gives some tips on how to choose the most appropriate tool and on how to organise participatory workshops and small group activity
