Toward a Global Theory of Health Behavior and Social Change

It describes the Social Ecological Model, a process which guides communication strategy by accounting for all levels of society that influence individuals. The authors posit that there is a movement away from communication as a one-time, one-way “act” towards a view of it as an iterative social process that unfolds over time.
