USAID Climate Strategy 2022–2030

USAID launched a new Climate Strategy in April 2022, which will guide its work through to 2030. The strategy focuses on a “whole-of Agency” approach and calls on every USAID sector and Mission to play a role in the response. The strategy builds on several foundational principles including locally-led development; equity and inclusion; private sector engagement; nature-based solutions; and evidence, technology, and innovation.
