Mamadou Diaw
Mamadou is a Senegalese citizen currently serving as the APCD/Health for PC/Senegal. Mamadou has been with PC for 23 years, firstly as APCD/NRM and EE; and starting in 2008, as APCD/Health. Before joining PC, Mamadou worked for 10 years in the field of NRM for USAID and FAO projects. His work included community forestry, agroforestry, community based natural resource management, cartography, land use planning, ecology and land tenure. Mamadou was also an agroforestry trainer for the Senegalese Forest Service.
Mamadou earned a Master’s degree in Forestry Sciences from the University of Florence, Italy, followed by a post university degree in cartography and NRM. Mamadou was also trained in land and tree tenure at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following his reassignment as APCD/Health, Mamadou undertook short courses in Senegal, France and Israel in nutrition, reproductive health, community health, maternal and child health, and water and health. In 2014, Mamadou earned a Master’s degree in environmental health from the University of Versailles, Paris. Mamadou is currently a PhD candidate from Paris Saclay Human and Social Sciences Doctoral School and has been carrying out a multi-disciplinary research on the factors influencing collective actions in community health.

Lilian Kayaro Esemere Population Health and Environment Programme Expert working with communities to integrate PHE related activities in various other components. I have over 8 years experience around working with Integrated approaches to Development
Esemere Kayaro Lilian Holds a Masters in Development Studies. She has over 10 years in Integrated Development Programming around Gender, Youth Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights. She has extensive knowledge and practice in Human Rights, and a Rights Based Approach to Sustainable Development. Lilian has extensively involved herself in Advocacy areas at Local, National and International while monitoring processes and policies to make sure they conform to acceptable and agreed standards.
She is enthusiastic and Keen in promoting Health Rights for all within the broader Development discourse, while safeguarding the rights and interests of the marginalized, vulnerable, the minority and less privileged.
Libby Skolnik
I joined JHU∙CCP in 2009 after serving as a community health volunteer in Peace Corps Peru. As the project manager for the Measurement Learning & Evaluation’s KM activities since 2010, I create tools and forums for diverse audiences to ensure sharing and learning of adequate and current health information via state-of-the-art technology. My KM expertise is in FP/RH.

I have worked with Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs for almost ten years, supporting a number of international projects in social and behavior change. I am currently living in Pakistan as Deputy Chief of Party for a USAID-funded maternal and child health program. With a focus on behavior change communication, adult learning methodologies and capacity building, I have partnered with local organizations to plan and implement community-based health and development interventions, curriculum development, IEC materials, distance learning, entertainment education, and mass media campaigns. I have a background in graphic arts, NGO management, international education, and behavior change communication.
