Checklist for Reporting on Malaria Communication Evaluations

These guidelines for malaria communication evaluations provide guidance around research and evaluation of malaria SBCC. The guide aims to improve transparency of reporting, increase efficiency of writing and review, and identify which SBCC approaches work in different contexts.

It is intended to be a companion tool to the Malaria BCC Indicator Reference Guide. This list was developed through a process that included SBCC program implementers, researchers, journalists, and donors. The checklist emphasizes description of the SBCC intervention and rationale for the SBCC strategy, choice of SBCC outcomes, methods of creating comparisons, and a discussion about the effects, casual mechanism, and future implications and generalizability of the results.
