Timeline [Web application]

TimelineJS is an open-source tool that enables you to build visual interactive timelines and is available in 40 languages. Beginners can create a timeline using nothing more than a Google spreadsheet.

The TimelineJS Embed Generator allows the user to add a timeline to a website. The user copies the Google Spreadsheet template, adds events as rows in the spreadsheet, and uses the generator tool to generate the HTML needed. Then TimelineJS can automatically pull in photos, videos from YouTube or Vimeo, tweets, wikipedia entries, and many other media types to help tell the story.
