Social and Behavior Change 101: An Introduction
This is a skill shot or a short course for program managers, donor organizations and FP/RH practitioners in learning how social and behavior change (SBC) interventions can guide and amplify the effectiveness of family planning and reproductive health programs. Structures around the modules around the three steps of the SBC Flowchart developed under Breakthrough ACTION – define, design and test, apply. With clear examples and short exercises, this course illustrates the importance of strategically designing SBC programs for FP/RH, including monitoring and evaluation. Allowing for pauses to do the short exercises, this course is 2 hours long. It includes a course handout and video.
