Talking about mpox: A discussion tool for interpersonal communication

This job aid, which is part of a package of generic materials intended for adaptation, was developed to support the rapid design of print materials and tools for mpox risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) activities. Messages in this job aid are intended to increase individual: 1) belief that mpox is a serious illness, 2) belief that everyone is at-risk of becoming infected with mpox, 3) self-efficacy to adopt measures to reduce one’s risk of becoming infected with mpox, and 4) confidence that recommended measures are effective at reducing the risk of becoming infected with mpox. It is recommended that RCCE practitioners use a systematic materials adaption process to adapt this brochure to their country context and audience need.
