This communication plan for rabies control responds to the recommendation that communication should be a major focus of the national integrated rabies control program in Côte d'Ivoire. It was designed under the leadership of the Direction des Services Vétérinaires and the National Institute of Public Health in collaboration with all actors involved in the implementation of the One Health approach, with the technical and financial support of Breakthrough ACTION in Côte d'Ivoire.

This brief provides rigorous evidence-based insights to implementers and researchers of social and behavior change (SBC) programs that seek to improve community knowledge, attitudes, norms and behaviors for improved health of women and their young children.

This report considers human factors in relation to future vaccines against COVID-19, drawing on insights from design thinking and the social, behavioral, and communication sciences. It provides recommendations—directed to both US policymakers and practitioners, as well as nontraditional partners new to public health’s mission of vaccination—on how to advance public understanding of, access to, and acceptance of vaccines that protect against COVID-19.
