ACCEDA (GATHER) [Cue Card]
This cue card uses the acronym ACCEDA to outline the key steps to quality client-provider interaction. It serves as a reminder to the health provider to go through each step to help clients receive the best care possible.
This is a Spanish version of the English GATHER acronym. Steps include: Attend to the person with kindness and respect; Talk with the person; Communicate options and possible actions; Assist in making a decision; Describe or demonstrate options and actions; and Arrange another visit.
