Radio Programs on FGM – Ethiopia
A project by Population Media Center includes the production of radio programs in three languages (Amharic, Afar, and Somali):
- Gudayachen (“Our Concern”) – a radio talkshow featured interviews, tips, and people sharing their experiences to encourage community conversation and increase knowledge on harmful traditional practices
- Naedetai (“Let’s Stop, This Is Enough”) – a radio magazine included short plays, interviews, storytelling, and narration
- Igaddaa (“We Do Not Want It Anymore”) – radio magazine included short plays, interviews, storytelling, and narration
