SBCC Strategy Template
The SBCC Strategy Template was developed by C-Change/Namibia to assist the staff of NGOs in developed a working SBCC strategy for the programs they implement.
The template is divided into three parts: 1) program design, 2) program implementation, and 3) program monitoring and evaluation (M&E). In program design, participants review existing data related to their specific health area, target groups, and geograpical locations to ensure an evidence-based strategy, followed by an analysis of underlying factors, including social and cultural norms. Participants discuss communication channnels, and messages and tools (whether new or modified old ones). In program implementation, number of workers, target audiences, and location of the intervention are detailed. In the M&E section, prticipants construct monitoring objectives and indicators, set targets, and describe their monitoring process.
