Tasankha! Discussion Guide
The Tasankha! campaign promotes family values and positive behavioral choices in addressing multiple concurrent partnerships as a key driver of new HIV infections in Malawi. The BRIDGE II Project developed the Tasankha Discussion Guide to promote community dialogue in addressing health and wellness issues starting with an individual, family and community and promoting collective action. It contains a set of participatory learning activities written in a modular format. There are ten themes in total, each consisting of a variety of activities.
The interactive methodologies used can help community members adapt their behavior so that they stay healthy and enjoy a happy and healthy life. This guide incorporates a range of ideas and methodologies for participatory approaches, and useful tools for engaging groups in dialogue and decision making on a variety of issues related to HIV and AIDS such as Gender; Couple Communication; Multiple and Concurrent Partners; and Male Circumcision.
