Adaptation of Hormonal Contraceptive and HIV Communication Strategy in Malawi
This presentation describes how and why the Malawi Ministry of Health adapted the Strategic Communication Framework for Hormonal Contraceptive Methods and Potential HIV-Related Risks for use in their country.
This process included preliminary discussions, an adaptation workshop, drafting a strategy, review by technical working groups, and finally approval by the Ministry. There are also illustrations of program materials which were created.
